I had grand ideas of all the things I would be crossing off my to do list while they were gone. I was dreaming of a week of peace and quiet. Funny thing is, when they left I wasted so much time walking around not knowing what to do with myself. I did not get half the things done that I had planned. It was so quiet that I could not function. I could not wait for them to get home, so I could actually tackle the to do list. LOL, last summer my husband took the kids for a week without me.
