How many pins does it take to fix a finger?


Answer:  Three We’re glad to have today’s surgery out of the way.  Our son is doing well and we are thankful.

The sun has come at last!  We took the chicks outside this morning to play with them.


My brother and his sons are visiting from Colorado, and it was fun to include them in the adventure.


We started with a clump of children around a clump of chicks…




but soon spread out a little and had a great time.


We also had the cutest spectator ever.

This kid NEVER smiles in pictures.  I’m so happy to have caught him smiling without reserve.






It has been cute to watch the children enjoy having these little pets in the house for several days.   This afternoon the little chicks will be starting a new adventure living with a different set of cousins.

These three little girls were born within three months of one another.  They’re cousins.


It’s been so great to see them together for a couple of days and to watch the older cousins form friendships and make memories together.  A big thanks to my brother and his family for making the long drive to stay with us for a couple of days.  What fun it is when extended families get to gather.  Thanks everyone!
