My friend is gone. She moved away. And I am even more sad than I thought I would be. (small tear trickling down my cheek) That’s all. Jennifer I wrote this journal entry: I rediscovered it while sorting through some boxes yesterday, and what laughing we have done while reading it! The next journal entry, written by my Dad a couple of weeks later indicates that I had completed the 3rd set of book reports, for a total of 45 written book reports. They had an awesome spot set up for us in the basement and we enjoyed a weekend with beautiful weather spent [...] We drove to Denver for Memorial Day Weekend. It was a wonderful, whirlwind weekend full of family and fun activities. Our main purpose for the trip was to celebrate the 8th birthday and the baptism of my niece. She’s my sister’s daughter, and it had been WAY too long since we’ve seen their family. I’ve [...] Wednesday was my husband’s birthday. I can’t remember the last time he had a more exhausting day than his birthday turned out to be, and we’ve had some tough days in recent weeks and months. I bought doughnuts to go with breakfast so we could sing to him early in the day, but the box [...] |
