Classic

The room went silent (an uncommon thing around here) on Sunday afternoon when our 18 month old walked through in this get-up.  We were all holding back our laughter as she passed, pretending to be so deep in conversation that she didn’t even know we were there.  Oh, it was funny.

I can’t decide which I like more, the bag on the arm with the TV remote as cell phone, or the glove she somehow managed to get on the other hand.  It cracks me up.  The shoes don’t hurt, either.

As for the lack of clothes, I have nothing to say but this:  a gut like hers needs to be exposed every once in a while.  And I’m not kidding when I say this is the skinny version.  You should see her after a meal!

Love this girl.

Another Pretty Package

I got these little packages in the mail a few days ago.

Itty bitty packages wrapped in sewing patterns, tied with knots made of strips of vintage sheets.

The contents aren’t a surprise, so I haven’t unwrapped them.  I like having them sitting there waiting.

They make me want to go hunting for vintage sheets.

{Restraint, Jennifer.   This is the year to finish, not to start more projects.}

Isn’t it awesome that you can use just about anything to make something a bit more special?  I love the creativity out there.  So fun!

What creative thing will you do today?
